Your new role involves a fantastic sign-on bonus of £1000, paid in two instalments of £500 after 3 months and £500 after 6 months. At The Sofa Delivery Company, delivering moments that matter is our focus. With a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern from 7am to 7pm, you’ll have ample time to relax and enjoy life outside of work.
As a Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Completing all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
- Communicating effectively with customers prior to delivery to ensure they are informed of your arrival.
- Ensuring furniture is delivered to the requested room and that no rubbish is left behind.
- Representing The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners.
- Working with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and improve service standards.
- Carrying out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, reporting any defects immediately.
- Complying with all driving laws and company policies.
The role is suitable for you if:
- You hold a 7.5T Licence, Digi Tacho, CPC Card, and a valid UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months, max 6 points).
