Your new role Fancy a work-life balance that puts you in the driver’s seat? At The Sofa Delivery Company, delivering moments that matter is what we’re all about. With our 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, 7am - 7pm, you’ll have plenty of time to relax, recharge, and enjoy life outside of work. You’ll be the final link in delivering moments that matter. As a Driving Assistant, you’ll help create a lasting impression for our customers during their delivery experience. Your day will involve everything from delivering recliners to footstools and navigating a variety of homes. No experience needed - we’ll provide all the training.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner, without causing any damage to furniture or customers' property.
  • Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure that they know you’re on your way to their address.
  • Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that we do not leave them with any rubbish to dispose of.
  • Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything that you do.
  • Work with your team and managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service we offer.
