Responsibilities

  • Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes in a safe and professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to ensure that they know you’re on your way to their address.
  • Ensure furniture is delivered to the room requested by the customer and that no rubbish is left behind.
  • Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners in everything that you do.
  • Work with your team and senior managers to provide feedback and continually improve the standards of service we offer.
  • Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects or missing items immediately.
  • Comply with all driving laws as defined by the government and all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • You hold a 7.5T licence, Digi Tacho, CPC card and a valid manual driving licence.
  • You’ve held a valid driver’s licence for 12 months with less than 6 points.
  • You’re ready to work as part of a supportive two‑person team.
  • You’re great with people and enjoy helping customers.
  • You’re comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.
  • You’ve got strong time‑management skills and thrive on variety.
  • You take pride in your work and value safety – of yourself and those around you.
