Responsibilities
- Observe and uphold the company's Health and Safety policies at all times to ensure your safety and that of your colleagues.
- Keep the warehouse tidy and free from obstruction.
- Remove any waste or rubbish from the warehouse floor in a timely manner and dispose of it into the correct recycling bins/skips provided.
- Sweep/vacuum floors as required and mop floors using the correctly coloured mops and mop buckets for the area being cleaned.
- Clean all toilet areas including floors, tiles, sinks, toilets, doors & handles, vents, hand dryers (including empty and clean reservoirs), and install sufficient quantities of toilet rolls and hand soap.
- Wipe doors, handles and internal glass surfaces.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained, cleaned or replaced as necessary.
- Ensure that the Safety Data Sheet COSHH folder is updated as necessary and kept within the cleaning equipment cupboard readily accessible.
- Keep the equipment cupboard safe, tidy and organised.
- Report any concerns to your line manager.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks and duties as directed by your line manager.
