At The Sofa Delivery Company we are a two‑person delivery team delivering experiences for DFS and Sofology.

What you'll be doing
- Complete all deliveries into customers’ homes safely and professionally.
- Communicate effectively with the customer prior to delivery to confirm arrival.
- Ensure furniture is delivered to the requested room and no rubbish left behind.
- Represent The Sofa Delivery Company values and those of our brand partners.
- Collaborate with team and senior managers to provide feedback and continuously improve service standards.
- Carry out daily inspections of allocated vehicles and equipment, informing the line manager of any defects or missing items immediately.
- Comply with all driving laws and company policies and procedures.
- Work as part of a 2‑person delivery team, completing 10–15 deliveries a day and installing furniture in customers’ homes.
The role is for you if...
- You hold a 7.5 T licence/Grandfather rights/ROI equivalent, with an up‑to‑date Digi Tacho, CPC Card and valid manual driving licence.
- You have held a valid driver’s licence for 12 months with less than 6 points.
- You’re ready to work as part of a supportive two‑person team.
- You’re great with people and enjoy helping customers.
- You’re comfortable installing and lifting heavy furniture in different home settings.
- You have strong time‑management skills and thrive on variety.
- You take pride in your work and value safety for yourself and others.
