Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

- Have a recognised membership within the field of Sports Therapy (e.g., Society of Sports Therapists, British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).
- Demonstrable experience in an applied sports industry setting (e.g., professional clubs or clinical settings).
- A passion for education and the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continued professional development and a passion for education.
- A recognised teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one).
- Experience of teaching in higher education and designing/assessing academic content.
- An active interest in research or industry engagement within the field of sport and exercise therapy.
