Following the expected departure of our very popular existing Sports Therapist, HGFC is looking for a replacement.
Job Purpose
The therapist will be a key member of the First Team group and will be responsible for providing support on matchdays and selected training sessions. We hope that the relationship with players will build to providing general advice regarding their health and physical wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Required to attend all First Team matches (usually Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evenings) and selected training sessions (Tuesday and/or Thursday).
Start date: July 2026 for pre-season training.
Qualifications
The role is likely to particularly suit a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience to further their career. They must be self‑motivated, able to work as part of a team, and show strong empathy with the players, creating a mutually respectful relationship with team management. They will be expected to be highly competent in assessing and treating the players, whose wellbeing is our highest priority. Any applicant must be enthusiastic about the role and dependable in any commitments made.
Payment
HGFC will pay a fee for all matches attended plus any training sessions.
