Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements
- A master’s degree (MSc) in Sport and Exercise Therapy or a closely related discipline (e.g. Sport and Exercise Rehabilitation, Sports Physiotherapy, Strength and Conditioning) or willingness to work towards.
- A recognised membership within the field of Sports Therapy (e.g. Society of Sports Therapists, British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers, The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy).
- Demonstrable experience in an applied sports industry setting (e.g. professional clubs or clinical settings).
- A passion for education and the ability to motivate and engage students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continued professional development and a passion for education.
Desirable
- A recognised teaching qualification e.g. PGCE or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one).
- Experience of teaching in higher education and designing/assessing academic content.
