The King’s School, Worcester wishes to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Economics and Business.

Detail

The School seeks a teaching professional with both integrity and compassion to contribute to our highly successful Business and Economics department. We invite applications from experienced and ambitious teachers as well as those in the early stages of their careers. We offer an outstanding programme of support and induction for ECTs.

The successful candidate should be an Economics and Business specialist with a proven record of teaching the subjects as well as considerable personal enthusiasm for both.

Safeguarding responsibilities of the successful candidate

Staff are advised to maintain an attitude of “it could be happening here and probably is” as far as safeguarding is concerned and should always act in the best interest of the child.

All staff are expected to actively promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils. As this post involves significant contact with children and the postholder will be responsible for children, they will be considered to be in regulated activity and must report any concerns in a timely manner.

All staff must also attend annual safeguarding training and have proper regard for the School’s safeguarding policy and procedures.

Working arrangements

This is a permanent position, commencing September 2025. We are happy to consider applications from those interested in either full-time or part-time working patterns.
