Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well‑motivated female games coach to coach netball, hockey and cricket throughout the school. A specialism in netball is essential, but also the ability and drive to coach other sports.

Responsibilities

  • Co‑coach netball predominantly, and also coach hockey and cricket during games afternoons.
  • Lead at least one after‑school squad and manage the school team at a Saturday fixture.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions against agreed learning outcomes.
  • Work with other sports coaches and coordinate fixtures across the region.

Qualifications

  • Qualified netball coach Level 1 or above.
  • Enthusiasm, patience and a thorough knowledge of coaching and officiating.
  • Experience of coaching young athletes and driving a minibus is beneficial.
  • Willingness to undergo child protection screening and Disclosure and Barring Service checks.

Details

Fixed‑term contract December 2025 – cover maternity leave. Term‑time only. Up to 17 hours of coaching per week with Saturday fixtures. Hours agreed with the Director of Sport. Fixed hourly rates for coaching and accompanying pupils.

Interviews: Friday 7th November 2025
