Job Description

We are looking to provide high‑quality one‑to‑one support for pupils on our Learning Support register. In conversation with parents and teachers, SENDCos will recommend a referral for a pupil to attend one‑to‑one support sessions for a period of time (from half a term upwards), these sessions will operate in School, during the School day. As such we are looking to appoint a skilled practitioner who will be able to make a difference to the educational progress of the students they are working with.

This role is a zero hours contract based upon demand by pupils/parents, with flexibility on working patterns across the week.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist and targeted support for sustained intervention for pupils aged 13‑18 years on a one‑to‑one basis using creative, highly visual and interactive teaching styles to support pupils' learning.
  • Provide regular feedback to the SENDCo.
  • Carry out, where required, online meetings with parents to update them on progress.
  • Write reports relating to pupils' progress according to an agreed schedule.
  • Manage timetable and rotate pupils' lessons.
