City of London Freemen’s School is an independent co‑educational day and boarding school located at Ashtead Park, Surrey (KT21 1ET). It serves 971 pupils aged 7–18 and will start a new cohort in September 2026.

35 hours per week (term‑time only plus 11 days). Salary is £29,090 to £32,440 per annum inclusive (£35,310–£39,380 for full‑time equivalents). The role will commence in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support within the Examinations Department.
  • Attend results weeks and the three INSET days, and be available for flexible early starts/late finishes during exam periods.
  • Support the organisation of public and internal examinations, including the six‑week public summer examinations, January mock examinations, and other internal assessments.
  • Manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office programmes and databases.
  • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, remain flexible, and demonstrate enthusiasm.
  • Sense of humour and ability to work effectively within a team.
Working Conditions
  • Flexibility for early starts/late finishes during exam periods.
  • TOIL accrued for hours worked outside the core job role.
  • Coverage required during intensive periods: summer examinations, January mock examinations, and summer term assessments.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act; a Disclosure and Barring check will be required as part of the selection process.
