We have an exciting opportunity for a landscape and garden designer to join our award-winning team in Leeds! You will produce innovative and creative concepts and designs for domestic garden landscaping projects in the Leeds area. As part of our tailored and bespoke design service, you will work alongside other designers to see projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the design and development of garden projects from concept to completion
- Producing design drawings, sketches, mood boards, and 3D visualisations
- Assisting with site surveys and client meetings
- Researching and selecting suitable plants, materials, and landscaping elements
- Supporting the preparation of client presentations and project documentation
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in garden & landscape design, with an understanding of general landscaping and construction methods.
- Competent using design software packages, including: SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (InDesign & Photoshop), and Lumion.
- Landscaping and/or garden design qualifications are preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of horticulture and the ability to produce planting schemes is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills.
- Results-driven attitude towards the work.
This is a full-time position with the following benefits:
- 28 paid holidays per calendar year.
- Employee contribution pension scheme.
- Paid overtime.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Full-time
This position offers a mix of in-office and home working Monday to Friday.
