The Opportunity
Are you an independent thinker with a curious mind and a passion for data? We’re looking for a Location Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of restaurant development across the UK and Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our highly successful Development team, supporting the acquisition and growth of new restaurants. You’ll play a key role in evaluating new opportunities, analysing data, and influencing strategic decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide general administrative support to the Location Planning process.
- Analyse internal and external data to help support decision-making and strategy development.
- Maintain and enhance databases covering our estate, competitors, and other points of interest.
- Track and report on competitor activity, providing insights into their strategy.
- Collaborate with external consultants and data suppliers to maximise value.
- Monitor post-opening performance and provide actionable insights to inform future strategy.
- Respond to wider business requests for geo-demographic data and analysis.
What You’ll Need
- A degree in a numerate discipline (e.g. Business Management, Economics, Geography, Retail based GIS).
- Strong understanding of UK & Ireland geography and the restaurant/retail sector.
- Excellent attention to detail and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
- Experience working with customer, transactional, and market data.
- Ability to cross-match datasets and reconcile differences.
- Strong reporting and communication skills to deliver influential insights.
- Self-starter with excellent time management and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to our core values and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Full UK driving licence (beneficial but not essential).
