Overview: Fantastic opportunity to join Sussex Injury Clinics at our busy clinics at Withdean Sports Complex, Brighton, established over 35 years. We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated graduates (or long term diploma qualified) hands-on sports therapists or physiotherapists with good underpinning knowledge and excellent communication to join our team.
Role and responsibilities: The role is part-time with the option to progress to full-time. You will be expected to be patient-focused and have a good understanding of injury rehabilitation and treatment, including sports massage. You will be self-employed with income based on a percentage basis or fixed rent if preferable. Support and training will be provided where needed.
About us and approach: We have been treating injuries at Withdean Sports Complex since 1990 and have grown into a partnership of therapists offering a comprehensive range of high-standard treatments. We emphasise educating sports participants on injury prevention, including advising children involved in competitive sport. We are hands-on with our treatments.
Partnership work: We have worked with large and small companies including South East Coast Ambulance Service, Inland Revenue, Southern Water and Hoyer UK (Shell petrol tanker drivers) providing a range of services ranging from occupational fitness assessments, manual handling training, injury treatments and workstation assessments. We have also worked with a large range of local, county and national level teams and individuals.
