Job Overview: As a Sous Chef you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our kitchen. You will work alongside our Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes, maintain high standards, and lead a team of dedicated chefs. We’re looking for someone with a love for fresh, seasonal ingredients, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to inspire others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Contribute to menu development with creative and seasonal dishes.
  • Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised kitchen, complying with all health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with ordering, inventory management, and food cost control.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
  • Strong culinary skills with a passion for working with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and development.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure in a busy kitchen.
