Social Glasgow is a Royal Exchange Square institution and is proud to sit nestled amongst a selection of great shops, cafes, bars & restaurants. Its name lends itself to exactly what we love to do here, meet friends old and new, and socialise!

With the busy festive season just around the corner, we are looking to invite more Bar and Floor Staff to come and join us for the Christmas rush!

The roles available:

  • Our dedicated Floor Staff will be required to become involved in all aspects of the day to day service, setting up, serving the customer, liaising with other departments within the venue and clearing down after your shift. High standards are very important, therefore you will be required to ensure that these standards are maintained. You will also enjoy and have a passion for promoting the venue and our fantastic dishes to all customers.
  • For our Bar Staff, your role will be to provide excellent bar service to customers that is of a consistently high standard. You’ll be friendly and enjoy interacting with customers in a professional and polite manner. You will be involved in promoting the Christmas sales and showcasing to our customers all the fantastic cocktails and drinks offers we provide throughout the festive season. You will also be expected to adhere to licensing legislation procedures and you will also be responsible for ensuring that bars standards with regards to cleanliness are maintained.

The skills we’re looking for:

You will preferably have bartending or waiting experience with cocktail experience also being preferable but not essential. It’s important that you enjoy working with others in a busy environment and have a great personality!
