The Social Type are looking for a talented Creative Designer to join our team full-time. This is a brand-new role, created to strengthen and grow the creative design side of the agency.
You’ll work closely with our existing freelance Creative Designer to lead on all aspects of visual branding, from identity design to campaign concepts, while also collaborating with our social media team to create high-quality, on-brand content across all platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer who is as passionate about brand strategy as they are about social-first visuals. You’ll play a key role in shaping our creative direction, developing client identities, and growing the creative offering of the agency.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Working on brand identity development for clients across a variety of industries
- Designing assets for social media, digital campaigns, and brand communications
- Collaborating with the freelance Creative Designer to ensure consistency and quality across all design output
- Supporting the social media team by creating engaging, platform-appropriate visuals
- Contributing to the creative strategy for both client work and The Social Type’s own brand
- Keeping ahead of design trends, particularly in digital and social media
- Playing an active role in growing and shaping the creative design function within the agency
- A strong, versatile portfolio showcasing branding and social media design work
- Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva
- A strong eye for layout, typography, and detail
- A genuine interest in social media and how design impacts engagement
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Confidence to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects
- Experience working in an agency or similar fast-moving creative setting is a bonus
