Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It
Edinburgh is getting its own Social Hub, and you will be the one bringing it to life. As our Senior Development Manager for Scotland, you take the lead from the moment we spot an opportunity to the moment we hand the keys to our operations crew. You dive into planning, design, tendering, budgeting and execution, all while keeping one eye on the bigger vision and the other on the details that make a project shine. You work closely with our Development Managing Director and our RE leadership team, turning ideas into a living, buzzing multiāuse community. Your days will be filled with creative problem solving, smart coordination and building relationships with architects, consultants, city partners and your internal crew.
What You Will Do
- Lead the full development cycle for our new Edinburgh project, from underwriting to handover.
- Analyse potential investments and guide the early decisionāmaking process.
- Select and manage architects, advisors, legal partners and construction teams.
- Shape the project concept and steer the design process with clarity and confidence.
- Guide the construction phase, keeping progress, quality and budget aligned.
- Coordinate with city partners on permits and planning.
- Prepare reports, sign-offs and updates that keep everyone aligned and moving.
- Coach your project team and create a setup where people grow and deliver their best work.
What You Will Have
- You have 10ā15 years of experience in real estate development with a strong record across design, construction and execution.
- You bring experience from private equity or an institutional investment setting.
- You have a commercial mindset and know how to build multiāuse concepts.
- You bring a solid network in Scotland across architects, consultants and construction partners.
- You understand planning phases and enjoy working with public entities.
- You have the ability to guide highālevel discussions while staying handsāon when needed.
- You bring an entrepreneurial spirit, a curious mind and a drive to create something meaningful.
- You live near Edinburgh and are open to frequent travel to Amsterdam.
