Overview
As our Event Operations Host, you’ll work across our diverse portfolio of events, ensuring that each guest has an excellent TSH experience. You will master the art of providing exceptional service at all events and be the face of our events at the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event spaces before and after events, often working solo.
- Ensure event rooms look fabulous, stay organized, and are ready for guests with attention to detail.
- Greet guests, be the face of our events, and deliver warm, welcoming service on delivery days.
- Serve food and drinks at multiple events and monitor event equipment.
- Maintain the event storage area and be proficient with in-house AV equipment, assisting delegates with issues as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas and ensure readiness for the next shift.
- Be familiar with all event packages and stay up to date with menu changes.
- Act as a concierge to guests, offering recommendations on places to visit, eat, shop, or enjoy the city.
- Assist guests with requests related to our facilities; support the F&B team on quieter days in the work cafe and bar if needed.
Who You Are
- At least one year of experience in event operations, preferably in a multi-room environment.
- Flexible, hands-on, motivated, and positive; able to perform physically demanding tasks including moving furniture and equipment.
- Capable of working independently and completing tasks solo when required.
- Multitasker with dexterity and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Willing to handle high-pressure peak periods with a proactive attitude.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Reliable, responsible, and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
- Eligible to work in the UK (UK citizen or legally allowed to work).
