Overview

Breakfast waiter at The Social Hub delivers warm, professional service to create a welcoming dining experience. You will connect with guests, share your passion for food and drinks, and work with the team to keep service running smoothly.

This is a full-time role (5 days out of 7). Rota days change weekly, so full availability is expected if you take up the challenge.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver warm, professional, and attentive service to ensure every guest has an exceptional breakfast and lunch experience.
  • Be the go-to person connecting guests with the kitchen and bar, accurately noting dietary needs and preferences.
  • Assist the team by clearing, resetting tables, and supporting various service areas during busy times.
  • Stay fully informed about the Hub’s operations, menus, events, and spaces to provide helpful guest information.
  • Recommend food and drinks confidently based on guest preferences and menu knowledge.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns quickly, maintaining high service standards.
  • Support event setups when needed, ensuring spaces match event requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.

What You’ll Have (Qualifications)

  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant service, with a genuine interest in food and beverage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to create positive guest connections
  • Good command of English; conversational skills in the local language; additional languages are a plus
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and friendly attitude with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction
  • Bright and welcoming demeanor in the morning
