The Lead Social Content Creation Manager is responsible for the quality of output for all content created by the agency for our clients in Europe. They are an inspiring self-starter, who will help source and guide a team of Content Creators and Designers to develop and ideate high quality, social content. They will be on top of the latest trends and work closely with other departments to ensure the content we are delivering is on-brand, platform native, culturally relevant, and commercially effective. They will feel comfortable being in a room dazzling a client with their content creation knowledge and skills, and have the ability to create strategically on point and on brand social content that is right for the brand and its community. We are a fast-paced, agile agency – and the winning candidate will need to thrive in this environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help grow a social-first content creation department and our content creation style.
- Have deep understanding of content best practices and proactively seek new, innovative ways to creatively bring brands to life on social in a brand-right, ownable way.
- Drive social fluency – deep understanding of social trends and nuances as they emerge while staying current with social platform trends, capabilities and offerings (including TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook & Reddit).
- Manage a team of Content Creators and Designers, providing constructive feedback, elevating ideas and content ahead of client delivery.
- Utilize their skills to ideate, design and create on-trend and highly shareable socially native content that drives engagement and connection across mediums (stills, carousels, reels, stories, copywriting, etc.).
- Work closely and collaborate with other departments – intelligence, strategy and social community teams – to create social playbooks for brands that evolve throughout the year.
- Lead the content creation part of new business pitches from proposal to pitch, guiding the content team to develop exciting work that is pitch-ready; set the tone for the innovative social content output prospective clients can expect when working with us.
About You
- Confidently and clearly delivers feedback, guiding creators and designers to the best possible output, inspiring them to do their best work.
- Passionate and curious about social media, with expert understanding of established platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit) and the emerging social landscape; has an eye for trends and love of internet culture and what the future looks like.
- Proven management experience; has effectively managed a team of content creators and designers.
- Demonstrates hands-on expertise with design tools ranging from Adobe Creative Suite to Canva and CapCut; comfortable shooting on mobile and editing on the go or with more traditional tools.
- Strong experience working hands-on as a social Content Creator with a portfolio of social-first work showcasing successful ideation and creative output for brands.
- An entrepreneurial self-starter with adaptability to work in a fast-paced growing environment.
- Can take a social strategy and bring that to life through social content, via the lens of the social currency agency proposition.
- Experience working on agency new business and being an active collaborator as part of a pitch team.
- Confident in presenting ideas to senior stakeholders and can “own the room”, selling content ideas.
- Strong collaborator and team player within the agency and while working with clients.
- Work alongside the other heads of departments to help us build and grow our content output and deliver high quality award-winning work for our clients.

- Proactive problem solver who anticipates issues, identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, and guides the team toward identifying solutions.
Experience
- At least 4 years of experience managing social content creators and designers in agency and/or brand settings.
- Proven experience working as a social Content Creator with a portfolio of social-first work demonstrating successful ideation and creative output for brands (with a focus on Organic and BAU).
- Knowledge of working with video, graphic design, typography, layout, illustration and typography within brand guidelines; comfortable shooting on mobile as well as editing with traditional and app-based tools.
