Full-time opportunities available on a temporary contract basis. The Social Care Community Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Early Years Practitioner for our client in Edinburgh. The working pattern is Monday to Friday.
Qualifications and experience:
- It is essential to have an HNC/SVQ3 in early education or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in working with young children and their families.
- Knowledge and understanding of childhood trauma and its impact on child development.
Job details:
- To provide support and guidance to parents including outreach, home visits and group settings.
- Provide family support including parenting skills programs.
- Work with other professionals using a multi-disciplinary approach.
- Provide high quality, nurturing care to children within the playroom setting.
- Support and supervise the Early Years Practitioners and Support Workers.
- Work within Child Protection policies and procedures.
