Full-time opportunities available on a temporary contract basis. The Social Care Community Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Early Years Practitioner for our client in Edinburgh. The working pattern is Monday to Friday.

Qualifications and experience:

  • It is essential to have an HNC/SVQ3 in early education or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in working with young children and their families.
  • Knowledge and understanding of childhood trauma and its impact on child development.

Job details:

  • To provide support and guidance to parents including outreach, home visits and group settings.
  • Provide family support including parenting skills programs.
  • Work with other professionals using a multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Provide high quality, nurturing care to children within the playroom setting.
  • Support and supervise the Early Years Practitioners and Support Workers.
  • Work within Child Protection policies and procedures.
