Job Overview: As a Sous Chef you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our kitchen. You will work alongside our Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes, maintain high standards, and lead a team of dedicated chefs. We’re looking for someone with a love for fresh, seasonal ingredients, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to inspire others. The role comes with the option of live in accommodation provided on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency.
- Contribute to menu development with creative and seasonal dishes.
- Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised kitchen, complying with all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and food cost control.
