We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthodontic Specialist to provide exceptional care within our established NHS primary care orthodontic service. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the clinical team, providing expert guidance and supporting high standards of care.
  • Develop and support the role of a new Orthodontic Therapist, contributing to service innovation and enhanced patient care.
  • Providing high-quality specialist orthodontic assessments, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment planning for a wide range of orthodontic cases.
  • Delivering a range of orthodontic solutions including fixed appliances, aesthetic options, and clear aligner therapy (e.g., Invisalign).
  • Working collaboratively with dentists, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless patient journeys.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and upholding the highest standards of clinical governance.
  • Communicating clearly with patients and their families to explain treatment options and progress.
  • Working closely with referring dentists and local providers to maintain strong clinical pathways and professional relationships.
  • Contributing to the positive, patient-centred culture of the practice.

What You’ll Bring

  • GDC specialist orthodontist registration (without conditions).
  • Have a current NHS Performer Number.
  • Experienced in providing NHS orthodontic care within a primary care setting.
