Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Glass Cutter/IGU operative role based in Nottingham.

The operative will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and processing glass for double and triple glazed units, including Low‑E and safety glass, according to work orders and specifications.

Day‑to‑day tasks include assembling IGUs, handling warm‑edge spacer systems, sealing and inspecting units for quality, and preparing orders for installation or dispatch.

The role involves operating cutting and processing machinery, maintaining a clean and safe workshop, and collaborating with colleagues in production, installation, and trade supply.

The operative may also assist with loading and unloading deliveries and ensuring that jobs are completed on time and to company standards.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience working with window and door glazing, including measuring, cutting, and assembling glass units.
