What you’ll do:
- Commission, plan, shoot and edit high‑quality video for local news, sport and feature content, including presenting to camera and voice‑over work as required.
- Create platform‑specific content for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and our websites.
- Lead on implementing video workflows to deliver newsroom best practice.
- Develop journalists’ skills through training and support using your expertise.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in producing video: shooting, editing and optimising for social platforms.
- Proficiency with industry‑standard tools.
- Good knowledge of the West Midlands and Shropshire patch.
- Experience in a newsroom or fast‑paced content environment.
Weekend working and flexible shift patterns (including evenings) will be mandatory as well as a driving licence and own vehicle.
