Swizzels Matlow is a family business in all respects. It is run by the 3rd generation of the founders of the business and is where different generations from the same families often work alongside one another.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, and forward- thinking organisation, and become part of this well-established business. We can offer an outstanding apprenticeship programme that is the best alternative to college for ambitious students, with an interest in engineering.

You will gain professional qualifications and the reputation that comes with working for a local family-owned business. Your first months will be based at college with day release thereafter; you will be studying towards a Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.

Person specifications:

  • Someone who is self-motivated and has the desire to develop their career

  • \\nGrade C or above in Maths and English is desirable. If you do not hold this grade in both subjects, we do provide a functional skill qualification that you will have to attain.
