Do you enjoy hands-on work and want to make a real difference to learners in Construction and Engineering? Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a Technical Learning Support Assistant to support students with additional learning needs in both practical workshops and classroom sessions. You will help learners build practical skills, promote safe working practices, contribute to session planning, and monitor and record their progress.
You should have practical construction or engineering experience, relate well to young people and support their individual learning needs. Strong communication, organisation and a flexible, empathetic approach are essential, along with a relevant vocational qualification. Additional SEND-related or Health & Safety qualifications are an advantage.
