Electronic Assembler Technician
HCD Research Ltd is a manufacturer of specialised electronic products that are sold world wide based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
Due to expansion a position is available for an Electronic Assembler Technician to join them, working in a production environment, manufacturing electronic products.
Prior experience of working in electronics production is not essential, as training is provided. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude to learning new skills and to expanding their opportunities.
This role provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skills in an expanding business.
You will be responsible for assembling precision electronic products and other production related activities.
Specific duties
- Assembling electronic products, cable, and conventional printed circuit board
- Hand solder through-hole and surface mount electronic components
- Various production related tasks including labelling products, stock checks, etc
Required skills
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Fast learner
- Positive attitude to learning new skills and responsibilities
- Able, after training, to assemble components to a high standard
- Able to work as part of a team or unsupervised
- Prior experience of working in the electronics industry
- Familiarity with electronics testing equipment
