Salary & Benefits: Salary will be discussed at interview stage depending on experience. Other benefits include:

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm & every third Saturday 8.00am – 12.00pm
The Company: Established in 1876 and based in Worthing, offering a vast range of timber and timber related products, everything from screws to spiral staircases.
The Role: The Wood Machinist will work on various machines and be part of a team that will make profile tooling and run the machines to produce high quality softwood & hardwood mouldings. Machines currently used are: Weinig Unimat 3000, Weinig Powermat 700, Weinig Multi-rip Saw and Weinig profile grinder. Full training will be given. You may also occasionally be required to work in either other departments or at a different branch.
The Candidate: The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and well organised, able to plan and prioritise their workload in a busy environment. A general level of literacy and numeracy is required. The successful Wood Machinist will have the physical ability to manually handle timber of various sizes.
