Shirebrook Academy, Aston Community Education Trust
Band D points 14 – 17 (£17,681 - £18,672) Pro-rata salary £15,504 - £16,373 (plus an additional 1 week of pay if the appointee has 5 years or more continuous service with a Local Authority)
Responsibilities
- Provide a highly professional and efficient service, acting as first point of contact for telephone enquiries and welcoming students, parents/carers, and other visitors to the Academy.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider needs of the Academy, including HR, Finance and Student Services.
- The role is based at Shirebrook Academy but may involve working at other local academy locations subject to the development of the Trust.
Person specification / Qualifications
- Have experience of working in administration or a similar role
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be able to work independently and with initiative
- Have a pragmatic approach
- Have good word processing skills
- Be energetic, well-motivated and flexible
- Have a professional manner and plenty of common sense
- Be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
