The Company: Our client is a well-established family run business which feather-sexes day old chicks at a hatchery based in Butterwick, close to Boston. The business employs a team of 30 staff, who continue to offer a professional and reliable service to the Poultry Industry. Due to continued growth, there is currently an opportunity for a Chick Sexer to join the team.

The Role: As a Chick Sexer, working on a line in the hatchery, you will be responsible for sorting day-old chicks into male and female categories. Full training will be given.

The Candidate: There is no previous experience required for the Chick Sexer role, however you must have excellent concentration skills, alongside good eyesight and hand-eye coordination. It is also required that you do not keep any avian species in your home due to bio-security rules.
