Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead the strategy, design, and delivery of innovative digital products that bring transparency and intelligence to physical supply chains using IoT-enabled returnable containers. This pivotal role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in end-to-end product lifecycle management, combined with robust project governance and execution. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain experience in industrial IoT, real-time data platforms, and enterprise applications, alongside a passion for sustainability-driven, customer-centric, and AI-first product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the product roadmap across digital platforms, including our patented IoT devices, cloud intelligence, and advanced analytics tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise business and user requirements, with a focus on translating complex IoT data into actionable insights for liquid and gas supply chains.
- Lead product lifecycle from ideation through MVP, releases, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with our sustainability mission and circular economy principles.
- Work closely with cross-functional global teams, including hardware engineering, firmware, software engineering, UX, and QA, to deliver high-impact digital products for physical asset management.
- Drive customer adoption and engagement strategies, collecting feedback and translating insights into product improvements, specifically for optimising asset utilisation and reducing carbon footprints.
- Use Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) to lead product planning and execution, delivering measurable outcomes through key performance indicators (KPIs), value stream improvements, and performance optimisation.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of complex industrial IoT and digital programmes, encompassing both hardware deployments and software solutions in live client environments.
- Lead planning, scoping, stakeholder communications, and risk management across cross-functional hardware, firmware, and software teams and global client engagements (e.g., field testing with multinational brewers).
- Ensure governance, budget control, and compliance with IT service delivery standards, including leading on information security protocols and certifications (e.g., penetration testing roadmaps).
- Facilitate agile ceremonies (PI planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) across multi-vendor environments, ensuring high quality in all software and hardware deliverables.
- Support procurement, vendor onboarding, and coordination for enterprise platforms and IoT device manufacturing partners.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s or Master’s in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of IT and digital delivery experience, with at least 3+ years in product management roles, specifically involving IoT, embedded systems, or hardware-enabled software solutions.
- Certified in SAFe Agile (Product Owner/Product Manager, Scrum Master), PRINCE2, ITIL, or AgilePM is preferred.
- Experience working across domains such as industrial IoT, real-time data processing, cellular/wireless networking, and cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS).
- Hands-on experience with product and delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Planview, ServiceNow.
- Proven leadership of cross-functional global teams, with demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data-driven products and insights.
- Familiarity with modern tech stacks (e.g., Node.js, React, Python).
- Experience delivering SaaS products and enterprise integrations (ERP, CRM, SCADA, Logistics Systems).
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with C-suite, executive stakeholders, and end-users.
- An understanding of how analytics and insights are derived from large datasets to drive product enhancements.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data governance in IoT/cloud environments.
- Experience with supply chain optimisation, asset management, or sustainability reporting technologies.
- Familiarity with hardware development and manufacturing processes
