We are looking for a warm and friendly, experienced Receptionist to join our team. Due to the current renovations at The Sloane Club, you will be a part of an exciting future that requires a knowledge of 5-star service and passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Whenever possible to anticipate guests' needs, to be aware of all written and spoken requests, to carry out these requests in a courteous and helpful manner.
- To have a full understanding of Opera systems would be beneficial.
- To display a pro-active and innovative approach to skills development and standards enhancement with your team.
- Ensure communication procedures are effective and efficient on a day-to-day basis, so that service standards are not compromised.
- Actively develop positive and effective communication between the Reception, Housekeeping and F&B teams.
- Ensure that you and all team members have a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.
- To be able to act with initiative, planning for the future and possible consequences. Being pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both members/guests and colleagues where possible.
- To develop interactive member/guest relations and to be aware of any possible future requirements. To relay such information to your manager for the enhancement of member/guest expectation.
- Operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure.
- To display and fulfil positive service style.
