We are looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join a fast-growing Managed Service Provider specialising in backup and disaster recovery solutions. You will be responsible for managing and developing key client relationships, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and maximum value from their data protection services. Acting as the main point of contact, you’ll work closely with clients to understand their requirements, oversee service delivery, and ensure SLAs and performance expectations are consistently met. You’ll also play a key role in driving new business opportunities across the backup and data protection market.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within the backup and data protection space
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Conduct client needs assessments to identify suitable solutions
- Present and demonstrate services to prospective clients
- Prepare tailored proposals and commercial quotes
- Negotiate contracts and close new business to achieve sales targets
- Work closely with marketing, technical, and channel teams to support smooth onboarding
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments
Key Requirements
- Proven experience selling Backup-as-a-Service or similar data protection solutions
- Background working within a VAR or MSP environment
