About the Role

I’m working with a global managed services provider in the data protection and cyber resilience space who are looking to hire an Associate Product Manager into their growing Go-To-Market (GTM) Product function. This is a newly created role, sitting within a team responsible for defining, maintaining, and evolving the company’s customer-facing service portfolio. Unlike traditional software product roles, this function focuses on commercial product definition, service packaging, and market readiness, bridging the gap between technical capability and go-to-market execution. It’s a great opportunity for someone early in their product career who wants structured development, exposure to enterprise-level services, and the chance to grow alongside a scaling product function.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Product Intelligence (with a focus on Rubrik ecosystem)
    • Tracking and reviewing weekly product updates, release notes, and feature changes from key technology partners
    • Structuring and maintaining a central log of product and licensing changes over time
    • Synthesising updates into clear summaries for internal GTM stakeholders
    • Supporting AI-assisted workflows for organising and presenting product intelligence
    • Developing insight over time into how external product changes impact internal service offerings
  • SKU & Pricebook Management
    • Supporting maintenance of structured product SKUs across internal pricebooks (Excel-based)
    • Assisting with creation and documentation of new SKUs as services evolve
    • Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across pricing and service catalogues
    • Supporting longer-term initiatives around SKU rationalisation and taxonomy redesign
    • Assisting with future transition towards CPQ tooling and structured pricing systems
  • General Product Support
    • Maintaining internal product documentation and reference materials
    • Supporting ad hoc product research and analysis tasks
    • Assisting with product marketing content development
    • Building strong understanding of the wider service and licensing ecosystem behind the portfolio

What We’re Looking For

  • Essential
    • ~1–3 years’ experience in Product, Product Ops, Commercial Ops, or similar
    • ~ Strong organisational skills and comfort working with structured, repeatable workflows
    • ~ Confident Excel user (structured data, tables, naming conventions, version control discipline)
    • ~ Strong written communication and ability to summarise complex information clearly
    • ~ Genuine interest in cyber security, data protection, or managed services
    • ~ Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
    • ~ Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
    • ~ Willingness to undertake occasional travel, including international travel
  • Desirable
    • Exposure to Rubrik or MSP environments
    • Experience using AI tools in structured workflows (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude)
    • Familiarity with CPQ systems or structured pricing/catalogue environments
    • Understanding of product lifecycle or basic product management concepts

Career Development

This role has been designed as an entry point into a growing GTM Product function, with a clear development pathway. Over time, you’ll gain deep exposure to enterprise service design, product packaging, and commercial structuring, with the opportunity to move into a more strategic product ownership track as the function expands. There is a defined intention for this role to evolve into a broader Product Ownership career path as the team matures.

What’s on Offer

  • Hybrid working from Leeds
  • Structured career progression within a growing product function
  • Exposure to enterprise-grade cyber resilience and data protection services
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Regular team events and flexible working policies

Additional Information

This is a UK-based role and applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available. Occasional travel is required, including periodic visits to international offices.
