This is a full-time, on-site Hairdresser / Hair Stylist role based in Mayfair, London. In this position, you will provide precision cutting, styling, and finishing services, delivering bespoke looks that align with each client’s hair type, lifestyle, and preferences. You will perform colour services in collaboration with the wider team where relevant, advise on hair health and aftercare, and recommend suitable products and treatments. Daily responsibilities include managing your column, conducting thorough consultations, maintaining accurate client notes, and ensuring an exceptional client journey from arrival to departure. You will uphold salon standards of hygiene and presentation, support a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and contribute to team education, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Hair Styling and Hair Cutting, with the ability to deliver both classic and contemporary looks to a diverse clientele.
- Proven expertise in Hair Care, including treatment recommendations, product knowledge, and guidance on maintaining hair health.
- Recognised qualification in Cosmetology (or equivalent hairdressing certification), with up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and safety standards.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on discretion, active listening, and building long-term client relationships.
- Experience working in a premium or luxury salon environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfort working with a global, diverse clientele and an interest in current trends, fashion, and wellness.
