Sirius Planning is looking for a talented Landscape Architect to join our growing team based in Leeds, with flexible options for hybrid or fully remote working.
As part of the Sirius Group – a forward-thinking, employee-owned consultancy – you’ll work alongside our dedicated landscape and planning team, delivering a wide variety of projects across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile and meaningful work in sectors such as:
- Renewable energy (solar, wind, hydrogen, battery storage)
- Minerals
You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Principal Landscape Architect and Town Planners, supporting the assessment and design of innovative, sustainable landscapes and helping drive our continued business growth.
Responsibilities
- Undertake Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments / Appraisals (LVIAs).
- Landscape Capacity and Feasibility Studies.
- Contribute to landscape design, restoration plans, and landscape management strategies.
- Support planning applications with high-quality visuals and technical reporting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and local authorities across all project stages.
- Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- A degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification
- Eligibility for or Chartered Member status with the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
- Ideally 5+ years’ professional experience (but we’re open to hearing from strong candidates with other levels of experience)
- Strong skills in AutoCAD, GIS, and graphics software
- Excellent communication and project management abilities
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work
- Experience in residential master planning, soft works design, and environmental planning would be a plus.
