We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Reception Supervisor or a Junior Reception Manager ready to take the next step in their career to join our Front Office team as Reception Manager. Typical shifts are 7am – 3:30pm and 2:15pm – 10:45pm, however flexibility is essential.
This is a hands-on, operational role based at Reception, where you will play a key part in delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring smooth daily operations. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, the Reception team is central to our success, and this role is critical in maintaining consistently high standards of service.

You will bring:
- Experience in a 4/5-star hotel Reception environment, with exposure to both corporate and leisure markets
- Strong operational knowledge of Reception, Reservations, and Night Audit
- Working knowledge of Opera
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- High personal standards, excellent presentation, and a confident, professional manner
- Strong written and spoken English and good Microsoft Office skills
- A self‑motivated attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire others
As Reception Manager, you will:
- Lead and maintain exceptional Front Office standards and guest satisfaction
- Ensure SOPs are in place, regularly reviewed, updated, and fully implemented
- Train, coach, and develop the Reception team, maintaining full training records
- Maximise departmental profitability through effective upselling and cost control
- Manage payroll and departmental expenses in line with business levels
- Carry out inductions, appraisals, and performance reviews, setting clear objectives
- Foster strong communication across departments, particularly Front of House, Revenue, Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Undertake Duty Management shifts as required
