SMCCI Enterprise Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Associate to support client acquisition and growth for the Muslim‑Owned Enterprise (MOE) Certification. This role combines business development with marketing support to strengthen outreach and engagement with the Malay/Muslim business community in Singapore. You will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships, ensuring training compliance, and collaborating on internal and external marketing initiatives. The position reports to the Manager of SMCCI Enterprise Pte Ltd and works closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and qualify prospects through cold calls, outreach, and referrals. Conduct meetings and presentations to promote the MOE Certification. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and track activities in CRM tools. Achieve individual KPIs (5 new MOE Certifications per month) and contribute to team revenue targets.
- Client Engagement & Training Coordination: Understand business needs and recommend suitable certification pathways. Support client onboarding and ensure smooth coordination with internal teams. Ensure applicants complete the mandatory online training as part of the MOE Certification process. Collaborate with external vendors to review, check, and suggest improvements for the online training content and delivery to maintain quality and relevance.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate on internal and external marketing efforts to promote MOE Certification. Assist in creating content, participating in events, and executing promotional campaigns. Work with external vendors and partners to ensure timely and quality deliverables for marketing initiatives.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Prepare weekly sales and activity reports. Provide feedback and insights to improve outreach strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in services or certification.
- Self‑driven and capable of managing sales cycles independently.
- Proficient in spoken English and Malay; strong written English for communication and reporting.
- Good interpersonal skills, professional conduct, and a team player mentality.
- Familiarity with the Malay/Muslim business community is an advantage.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: SGD $2,200 – $2,500 (depending on experience).
- Commission: The individual shall be entitled to a commission of 10% on revenue directly generated from MOE‑related services and packages personally secured by the individual.
- Hybrid work arrangement (remote and on‑site flexibility).
