CNC Machinist Bespoke Furniture & Fit-Outs

About the Role
My client is a leading name inhigh-end bespoke furniture and commercial fit-outs, and were expanding our production team. We're seeking aCNC Machinistwith hands-on experience in3-axis or 5-axis CNC machining, ideally within woodworking or solid surface materials.

This is a factory-based role, ideal for someone who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and wants to work on some of the most prestigious commercial interiors, luxury retail, and architectural joinery projects in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines (3 & 5 axis) for woodworking and solid surface materials
• Interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and CAD files to create precision components
• Ensure accuracy and finish in line with high-end furniture and interior specifications
• Collaborate with designers, joiners, and project managers to ensure manufacturing feasibility
• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery to avoid downtime
• Apply finishing processes and assist with prototypes or one-off custom builds

What Were Looking For
?Proven CNC machining experience (wood, MDF, Corian, laminates, or similar)
?Comfortable with 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machinery (e.g. Biesse, Homag, SCM)
?Ability to read technical drawings and CAD/CAM output (e.g. Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360)
?Experience in abespoke furniture,interior fit-out, orarchitectural joineryenvironment
?Meticulous attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
?A proactive mindset and ability to adapt to custom and small-batch production runs
