We are looking for sales experience in OTC health, wellness and lifestyle, an experienced and knowledgeable Account Manager, who is practiced at working with the top high street retailers - Boots, Holland & Barrett and Superdrug. A sales ‘power house’ resource needs to add individual expertise to cover for a maternity leave situation.
Consider the remit: three major health and beauty retailers all looking for growth opportunities and iconic innovation in a fast and furious category of wellness, vitamins minerals and supplements. Throw in the focus of this role to lead a high street commercial agenda with courage and skill, and you have the perfect role for someone who loves the idea of showing off their capability with confidence.
Our client is a privately owned global personal wellness business. Growing and profitable, turnover today around £75m with a bold intention to double revenues in the next five years by fully exploiting the world of possibilities for a collection of well-known household name ‘good for me’ brands, manufactured here and abroad.
Critical to your success will be the skill to understand how the likes of Holland & Barrett, Boots and Superdrug operate on matters that are typical of health and wellness products, generating collaborative programmes with a carefully planned pricing and activation strategy. You’ll need to appreciate the consumer choice and behaviours, preferably learned from VMS, Wellness and OTC backgrounds. Your prior experience in recognised branded premium OTC will be ideal. But like any FTC role the pace is ferocious, and the priority is to make things happen.
