Our internationally renowned FMCG food client is a well-established business with an iconic brand that has revolutionised its category in shopper and consumption habits beyond all recognition. The product sector is currently the most talked about ‘new food’ where innovation continues to stretch the bounds of ‘what's next’! A leading authority in their category with combined retail UK revenues of more than £120m, the Foodservice channel potential is enormous, doubling in size at the hands of a team who knows how. Yet in everything they do, sustainability, health, and transparency are the core values that guide this working culture.
An experienced NAM with hands-on customer accountability for the big Foodservice Wholesalers (Brakes, Bidfood, Booker etc) will put you right at the heart of this organisation and its vibrant sales community. You’ll lead, with the OOH Director and colleagues, to execute an actionable channel strategy to drive new distribution, building brand equity as the primary measurement of success. You will own the route-to-market strategy for the Wholesale sector landscape, ensuring the ‘push/pull’ is optimal within all the other feeder routes to market such as coffee shops, end user Horeca and travel sectors.
As a sales champion with an understanding of what it means to ‘brand build with the customer’ you’ll benefit from the wider support of highly trained consumer marketing and experiential teams. We are looking for a knowledgeable, well-trained NAM ready for a step-up in Wholesale major accounts. Someone who knows how to optimise major account relationships. Your passion, attitude, and appetite for building customer success, and importantly winning back business from competitors, will be key to your success.
Your innate commercial curiosity, wilful sales mindset, and desire for independence to show your value really matters. You’ll be proven on JBP negotiations and understand the customer like no other. You are tried and tested yet have so much more potential to realise. With an impressive start to your career in FMCG already, you’ll be ready to join a well-run profitable, international business. This is undoubtedly an exciting category in ambient food and drink innovation right now which needs an equally enthusiastic sales pioneer to make a marked impact. If 2025 is your year to shine, apply today.
