Our client, an £800m UK subsidiary of a global branded food giant at £15bn, is on the hunt for a grocery sales lead, a subject matter expert with an envious reputation, a visionary who can champion the ever-increasing demands of the grocery customer universe.
You have the ambition to lead a programme of sales capability and excellence with the backing of a portfolio of instantly recognised brands in a £3bn ambient food category. The remit is simple; you will lead the grocery customer agenda, supporting the Sales Director to build a more aggressive growth plan combining commercial execution and JBP negotiations.
Relentless high performance, process improvement and leading a winning team are critical to this business, now in pursuit to take the lead title as category authority in the eyes of the retailer grocery trade. A role combining team leadership and hands-on customer accountability will put you right at the heart of this organisation and its vibrant sales community. This is a vital No.2 to the Sales Director.
Thinking and acting with fearlessness must be your natural MO. You will be expected to act as the authority with complete autonomy to champion new ways. Your combined technical skill and experience over 10 years in big blue-chip as well as progressive food and drink companies equips you to succeed.
