This is a great opportunity to support the Technical Manager in maintaining and improving food safety, quality, hygiene and GMP standards across the site. A key part of the role will be ensuring the site remains audit-ready at all times, supporting customer, regulatory and certification requirements, and leading audits where required. You’ll work closely with Operations and Engineering to embed strong technical disciplines, while also managing key systems such as internal audits, pest control, calibration and QMS. You will lead the Hygiene Team to deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness.
You will be motivated to step into a broader technical leadership role. You will have experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing, with a strong understanding of food safety standards, GMP, and audit processes. You will be a confident people manager, able to lead and develop teams, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will also bring:
- Experience of internal audits and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
- The ability to work cross-functionally and influence others
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a drive for continuous improvement
