Production Operative - Fixed Term - Poole - POWH 0726
Job Purpose/Role:As a Production Operative, you willbe responsible forassembling and inspecting products to ensure we deliver the highest quality to our customers. Maintaining a safe and efficient work area is essential, including a heightened awareness of health and safety and active participation in our continuous improvement scheme.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Comply withall company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist Floor Leaders in setting up the room for production runs.
- Follow instructions from packing specs and Floor Leaders.
- Maintain pace with a fast-moving team and production standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
- Ensure the integrity of food safety and quality systems through proactive reporting and prevention.
- Comply withthe company’s requirements for the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Maintainhigh levelsof personal hygiene.
- Work any shift ifrequested.
- Performadditionalresponsibilities and duties as assigned by Floor Leaders.
Requirements & Skills:
- Willingness to work any assigned shift.
- Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiencyin English for Health and Safety purposes.
- Team player and self-starter.
- Adaptable to change and able to prioritise tasks.
