Working as part of the Luxury Fabrics group, focusing predominantly on the William Halstead brand, this is a role for a someone who wants to develop their career within textiles and sales, an opportunity has risen for someone to join our successful company.
You will work closely with the design team to ensure we are developing products to the needs of our customers. A good knowledge of design/ manufacture would be helpful.
Whilst the William Halstead brand will be your focus you will also assist with the sales for our other successful brands of John Foster, Kynoch of Scotland, Joshua Ellis, Standeven and Escorial.
Role and Responsibilities
This is not an exhaustive list of duties but gives an outline of the role and responsibilities of this position.
- To work alongside the brand manager to learn the role
- Responsible for managing proactively the sales of the Halstead brand in UK and Europe.
- Delivering sales and profit targets as agreed with the brand manager.
- Daily management of agents.
- Daily communication with customers and agents in your designated markets.
- Providing support in your colleague’s markets as required.
- Customer visits in the UK and Europe.
- Participation in seasonal cloth exhibitions.
- Working with the design and sales teams to develop new products and seasonal collections.
- Along with the brand manager preparing the annual sales budget.
- Foreign Travel will be essential for the role
Qualifications
- Good written and spoken English
- Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent)
- Language skills would be an advantage
Preferred Skills
- Design and Manufacturing knowledge – desirable
- A working knowledge of TMS (Textile manufacturing system- desirable)
