We are looking for a highly professional Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our Food & Beverage team at The Mitre, Hampton Court. Our 40‑bedroom hotel has been transformed into glamorous restaurants, cocktail bars, enchanting river terraces, an orangery, an all‑day café, and even a quirky library for the most curious. Nestled on the banks of the Thames beside Hampton Court Palace, The Mitre offers riverside elegance just 40 minutes from Central London.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead the F&B team in absences of the Restaurant Manager.
  • Ensure guest focus by being present on the floor.
  • Develop your menu knowledge and keep up to date with changes, including specials.
  • Lead pre‑service briefings to inform the F&B team of their positions for service.
  • Support in setting up and supervising events.
  • Ensure that every team member has completed their compliance training.
  • Ensure tier tests are taken by team members at the completion of their probationary period.
  • Ensure that all company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being followed.
