We are looking for a highly professional Spa Therapist to join our Spa team at The Alfriston located in East Sussex, which dates back to the 14th century and is the fourth property in the growing Signet Collection. The Hotel has 41 beautifully redesigned bedrooms and suites, a stunning function room, The 1554 Brasserie, offering views over the front lawn towards the sea and revamped herb and vegetable plots across the hotel gardens. The hotel bar offers more casual dining for guests both in and outdoors, while the Orangery serves breakfast and afternoon tea with views over the rear gardens and the Signet spa includes a steam room, sauna, outdoor swimming pool and three treatment rooms.

You will:

  • Provide consistent professional treatments in accordance with protocol and accepted certification practices.
  • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the Spa.
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation as directed by law and the Spa's policies and procedures.
  • Perform preparation work, properly clean and restock room as required.
  • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the Spa that require attention.
  • Actively promote the Spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the Spa.
  • Ensure all Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
